FISHERMEN love it for the unrivalled
opportunities to catch rainbow trout along our 2.5km stretch of
river.

What some of our guests said:
Little gem in the country Just back from a fabulous two-night break at Umzimkulu River Lodge. I don't have enough good things to say. A magic location right on the river. Friendly super helpful staff, good, wholesome home cooked meals to order. The list goes on! Highly recommended!

We spent an evening in Pygmy cottage and absolutely loved it. You truly have a piece of heaven and thank you for sharing it with us. I wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back in December with friends to enjoy it more. Thank you to Nuh and Bongani, you really do go the extra mile and are very friendly. I must say we especially loved the cats that curled up on our laps in front of the fire. Really made us feel at home.
