In love with birds

I heard the trumpeting flight call of the "may hem" interspersed with reassuring low pitched honks this morning. I flew out of bed in the hope of seeing them pass by. I love watching and being with the birds we share our space with. Just by taking a few moments each day to watch the bird activity that goes on in the garden brings such a sense of calm and well-being. I am filled with gratitude for the beauty and diversity that is always present here.... .and for Neil who is always so good at capturing them!  Photo Credit:  Neil Prior
